Blog Feature December (20 of 36)Five years ago, over on Salt Spring Island Hannah, a very talented creator and maker, started Harosef Designs. Hannah’s clothing line is built around designing and making sustainable surf styled clothing and accessories. The pieces in Harosef’s apparel and accessory line are made and designed by Hannah out of reclaimed and recycled fabrics.
I got the privilege of meeting Hannah and teaming up with her to show off one of her lovely pieces, the Pale Purple Cowl Sweater.  Hannah designed this sweater to be a cozy pullover sweater for lounging around drinking tea and reading a book.  The fabric is sourced from a company in Vancouver that receives the ends of fabric rolls and notions from local manufacturers and resells what was previously destined for the landfill. Hannah purchases this fabric from Our Social Fabric and creates the most comfortable sweater around.

Harosef is going to be at ‘A Touch of Saltspring’ craft show in Saanichton, on Vancouver island, this weekend, Dec 5-7. View more details on Harosef’s Instagram page.
